Overview

Scope of Responsibilities:  Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Replenishment and Maintenance Department.  Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

 

Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating all replenishment/put away/maintenance functions in the Distribution Center in an accurate and efficient manner.

 

 

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Oversight responsibility of freight movement from the Receiving area to home and reserve locations
  • Oversight responsibility of replenishment priority 1 and 2 freight from reserve locations to home locations.
  • Oversight responsibility of inbound freight appointments.
  • Oversight responsibility of Maintenance Department, to include daily custodial tasks
  • Use cycle counting as an inventory management tool to correct error associated to problem moveable units and locations
  • Maintain accurate inventories at Distribution Center units and locations.
  • Condense freight in various locations to achieve space savings and better overall freight organization.
  • Utilize safe and efficient fork lift operator techniques and have a good working knowledge of both CRT and RF equipment
  • Maintains all security, integrity, and control of all freight, including pharmaceutical and confidential material.
  • Responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and implementation of technologies need to maximize efficiencies with supervised departments.
  • Overnight sight responsibility for all routing of inbound collect freight.
  • Assists in the budgetary planning process.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: AS Degree or higher in, or related field

 

Experience:

  • Preferred: Previous 3-5 years experience within a Receiving Department, or related department

 

 Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Criminal background check
  • Drug Test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License
